Oh what a beautiful day!  Clear skies, temps in the mid-50's, wind = 0 gusting to 2 mph (at ground level, a little bumpy aloft).   A  great afternoon to fly and many from Selby Aerodrome did just that, but it was also bitter/sweet.

The guy who had the most fun was Chris.  He  went up just to blow the dust off his wings but I went up too, chased him down and got a few photos as he flew his new MiniMax.  That was the sweet part.  The bitter part is the photo of Chris making his last smoke pass in the Legal Eagle, he then landed and began disassembling the plane for the new purchaser.  Chris looked like a guy who had just kissed his girlfriend the last time before he went off to war knowing he would never return.

Well guys, I now have another cross country destination to add to my list of places to fly....
While I am sad to see it go, I am happy to have a little more net worth....... and not have to wory about hangering and maintaining two planes.

Chris
When in doubt just use full throttle.... it might not help but it will end the suspense.

Great Photos...Paul...

You are quite Lucky Chris to have such a nice ship and be so young..and of coarse there will always be time for the 'other girfriends' latter...LOL

Have fun and cherish the experiences in your new plane...a win-win for all concerned.

regards Arthur

Yep, I remember that day Chris. Well, now you have a new plane(s) and a girlfriend you can really kiss!  Thanks for rekindling my memories of that flight.
