Freaking cool! But, I don't think I'd do it. Too afraid of doing a prop strike on that short of a landing.

One of the videos on the side shows a guy taking out his prop and engine.

Wow Guys, you shouldn't be aloud to have that much fun sitting down!...and while I'm on here I'll introduce myself. my name is Alson (Alley) Duncan, I'm a student pilot training in a 230D Jabiru out of Yren Renmark South Australia. Training has been on/off in the past few months due to work commitments, money etc. etc.Have put a deposit on my own Jab230D with all the bells and whistles, just waiting for finances to come through. Also was learning to fly a Blanik(glider) but unfortunately they/she has been grounded world wide at this stage due to wing fault I've been informed.God I miss my gliding and wouldn't be a treat to do that in the neck of the woods shown in the video.Love all things flying and the wonderful people involved in our passion/obsession!!!! Chat soon, all Fly and Keep Safe.
Cheers Alley
PS.And I want one of those with "Big Fat" wheels too!

Welcome to the group S.B. Yeah the love of flying is why all of us are here too. Does the Blanik have wood wings? You are just like all of us except you talk funny lol. There is another Aussy in the group that flys a Minimax. Arthur loves to fly as much as any of us. I am building an Airbike and have one wing finished and one 3/4 done. Progressing slowly cause life gets in the way sometime.

The Blanik L13's have been grounded. Fatigue cracks in the aluminum lower wing spar cap/splice are suspected in a fatal crash in Australia where the wing separated.

G'day guys, and Hi Alley, thanks for your pm. As you suggested, I googled this site and then had trouble creating an account. Reason, I created one back in January 2009 and had forgotten all about it. Look forward to catching up on some of the posts when I have time.
Fly safe every one,
Cheers, Doug, Jabbie pilot in reality.
