strips terrain were common in our place found in logging areas in southern part... prefix RP-C...registered in the Philippines.

All of them looked longer then the one here at selby and the area looks a lot like tennessee.  Still neat flying...
The light at the end of the tunnel has been sold to China, if you need the light at the end of the tunnel please send 100 Yen.

That is quite a feat in a 185. Most of us would be up for the challenge in a draggy 300 lb. Max, but a 3,000 lb. Cessna....not easy!

Here's a video of an American Airlines 757 going into Tegucigalpa Honduras. According some statisics this is the 2nd most dangerious airport in the world. High elevation, short and down hill if landing north which is the normal approach. I fly an MD-83 for the U.S. Marshal Service and we went there weekly from about ten years ago until 2008 when an Airbus went off the end of the runway and down the cliff on the end. After that the safety guys decided the pucker factor was a little high and made us quit. The MD-80's has a small wing and it lands fast compared to the Boeings. We called this our thrill ride trip. Alway exciting but I never had any problems. We didn't land if the runway was wet. You can see now why I like my Mini-max so well.
