I split this video into two parts part 1 is 9:30 min and the second should be about 9:00.
This was shot( not by me) at a fly-in sometime in the 1993 time frame. Some of this video is in one of TEAMs promo videos. The first 6+ min. have some bad spots in the video, it was that way on the VHS I took it from.
As far as I know this is the only video of the TA-3 in the air.
Part 2 will follow in the next day or so.

Don't mean to get off topic but are there anyplace you can get plans for the 2 seater? Has anyone ever made or designed one to be built from aluminum (even a regular max)?
Thanks, Ben

Nice video and planes. Thanks for sharing. What engine powered the TA-3?

Part 2 is now on youtube. This may have been shot in 1990. I know it shows that date in the first part, but I was thinking it was later than that. I'm not sure who shot the video, but you hear Larry Isreal a lot. You will also hear skip(Harold Little), and I'm not sure if Kathy was there or not. Wayne is in a couple clips as is Jim Collie. This video was shot at Cedar Glade. If anyone knows anymore about the video please post it. Thanks. Enjoy!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Qgw_viUK2s&feature=email The red and white plane making a bad landing was TEAMs prototype Z-MAX. I think this the same airplane Skip now flies...I think

Tj,
I think it was a 582 Rotax, but I'm not 100% on that.

Hi Guys,
I have known the late very talented Jim Collie through TEAM's video with an impressive low_tight coordinated flight maneuvers and interview, a former navy cougar pilot, TEAM test pilot (stated in an article of Kitplanes' "First Impression"). An aeronautical engineer who prepared the Minimax/Himax stress analysis.
A great loss knowing (thru ETLB) he died in a crash. Just curious, does anybody of you guys could tell how he died on such incident? Does the TEAM aircraft involved too? Thanks.

Phil,
Jim wasn't killed in a TEAM airplane. It was another design that he had become involved with.
