I went to the Luscombe flyin at Vinland Valley airport today and there was a nice Airbike flying there. I talked to the owner and he said the plane was the original Airbike build by TEAM.

Charlie, was that plane the one that is hangared at the Gardner Airport? It has an upright Rotax and the lower portion of the wing is cut-out to provide space for the pilot's head. That was because they used a mini-max wing with its wing attach points which are attached as extensions of the upper spar cap strip as opposed to the lower spar cap. Below is a photo of the one I am speaking of.

seen some really BIG RC's locally that perform well of Li-On batteries. Just a matter of time before it is scaled up.
