Saturday, March 31st, I left Selby Aerodrome to participate in a Young Eagles event our EAA chapter was hosting. The 7:15 AM departure revealed one of the benefits of a dawn flight. The air was so humid that moisture spewed off the prop during engine run-up. It looked like my smoke system was connected to the prop!

Enroute to the event site I took a few photos, they were so neat I wanted to share them with you. If you haven't flown at dawn, try it, especially following a heavy rain the previous day.

The tree  photo was taken on another flight and you may have seen my posting of it on the board previously.  However, it is so cool I just had to included it with these  photos.

Cool pictures Paul.

Late summer early fall we get fog in low laying areas of fields as the air cools before sunset. Its fun to fly through, pull up, and see the trail you left through the fog.
a mile of road will take you a mile, a mile of runway can take you anywhere.
