I was trying to take air pictures out of the partially enclosed cabin of my 1600R but I can hardly turn sideways to see the objective. This pictures was taken without looking at the target.
Any ideas how to do it?

loosen the shoulder harness a bit.....lol.....I am 225 and was in a totally enclosed mini....hardest part for me was circling on a point so the wing wasn't in the picture....but I could turn from the waist to see... are you wearing a helmet as well.... cause my head would turn far enough to see to the sides behind me.... a Pic of your plane might help us with the lack of vision question... and happy day after turkey day to all....summer is coming

Thanks Avenger. Being right handed I take pictures with my left hand, so my right hand is on the stick.
I tried to control the stick with my left hand and  take pictures with the right hand but after I landed , someone  ask me if I was having control problems, he said the plane was flying in an akward position. Maybe is a matter of practice, learn to fly the plane left handed. Anyhow I have to cross my arm to the opposite window in order to take pictures.
Loosen the belt will definately simplify the process. I fly without a helmet which is probably not a very good idea.

your picture didn't look bad at all.  I flew the max with my right hand but the Taylorcraft I fly now you really fly with the left and and work the throttle with the right.  Always a good idea to be able to fly the plane with either hand, on a long cross country in the Max once my right arm and shoulder started cramping up so flew left handed for a while till it quit. Figure out how to take pictures left handed.... but trust me... everyone here loves pictures... good ones... bad ones.... ones Paul takes of me goofing up...pictures are just cool

Ricardo, if you can do pictures like this without turning, why bother with turning ? Do something else... like watch your prop turning. For using your other hand you should learn to play piano. When you uprade to Airbus captain seat you will need your left hand on the joystick anyhow.

Nice lookin !
