Himax autumn takeoff and landing

Come and enjoy this two short video I uploaded from my Himax takeoff and landing in my little farm. Stip is 300 m total but the last 80 m is only for emergency.
I enjoy this little aircraft very much. And for those who has doubt about 40 hp Hirth engine sufficiency here we go...
Takeoff is slightly uphill its about 4 feet up in the first 100 meters. But the power is still enough to get this little beauty in the air in less than 80 meters or so. Strip is at 840 m AMSL.

Very good performance. What's the ground elevation there?
I can see the Himax has more wing diedral than the Minimax.

Like PSF a lot. It gives you an insight into other types of flying. Some might not like the "one size fits all" approach but I find it informative and pick up little tid bits that could be useful in all types of flying. Your article is a good example: just about all UL type flying has some cables that can use your tips. Keep up the good work !!

That is one beautiful plane! I first saw it on Youtube. Is it possible to make a Himax part 103 legal and a decent flyer with a Hirth F33?

It's videos like these that motivate me to keep working towards my Fisher Koala, a Minimax, etc.
