I would say that's not very impressive; until I saw you did it without any flaps. Now that took skill.

LOL, Harless. That is a neat picture. Where is that located? Any idea?

lowflyerFebruary 24, 2013, 11:32pm
Full throttle, much horsepower, release brakes and away you go...............

It's at a little cafe called "The Hangar"  near KLNP, where I fly from...

You can see the building on Google earth but the plane is not there when the picture was made in 2007

Wow Harless, I had no idea where you lived. Just checked out Mapquest and you are up there near where all my family is from. Richlands, Lebanon, Bradshaw WV. etc

Good thing that Cessna had brakes!  Perhaps it had a tail hook also?

What it tells me is that there must have been a heck of a headwind.

I would say that it was an abundance of talent but if I did, the next time I fly I would crash and burn because my PANTS WOULD BE ON FIRE..

one suggestion tho...dont throw you map on top of the dash before you get out....the change in balance will nose you over.
You don't need to know anything about flying inorder to pilot a plane.  You do need to know something about flying fly inorder to pilot a plane twice!

You did it wrong.  If you want shorter then land uphill!

must have been all the slip practice... well done...
Why focus on proving how great you are, when you could focus on becoming better?...

Actually, this is an ingenious solution to the problem all flyers face- the dreaded "hundred dollar hamburger".

You never really landed on the "airport", did you?  No landing fees.

The town may tax take-out food, but I'll bet the law doesn't say anything about "take-off" food.

Your burger is now only about $95.99.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think anyone would see through that motive but Mark is the man..

I was told just yesterday that they now serve Beer there.. And as Arnold said :"I''LL BE BACK"
