RED ALERT !!!!
We have all heard of the Internet scams, identity theft, fake Social Security ploys and as a result we are pretty careful. However, a new one just cropped up and I want you to be aware of it, it is called "The Imposter".
Yesterday I was at the Selby Aerodrome Hangar when in walked a fellow pretending to be Bill Bailey, better known as "Avenger" to folks on this Board.
He was well spoken, no swear words, didn't smell, had clean hands, hair was combed, beard straightened and knew something about airplanes. He even claimed to be able to fly a Taylorcraft. He seemed like a pretty nice guy. So, I knew right away that it couldn't be Bill!
But as you can see by the photo, he sure looked like Bill. Could'a fooled anyone who didn't really know him. Apparently this imposter collects information from Facebook, Twitter, and other sources of personal profiles. Who knows, he might show up in your hangar next, he could even claim to be from the FAA.
So, be on the lookout for imposters. Consider yourself warned.

Yeah, he said he is associated with the Harley Davidson division of the Shriners, even marches in the parade as their leader. Who knows what is next, he may even claim to have flown a Mini-Max! He has done his research well.
Perhaps the real Bill will sign in and verify or dispute this man's claims?? Or does Bill have a twin? Hope not, I don't think the Selby Aerodrome could tolerate two of 'em!

I said "SMILE" and that is what I got. He said it was the best he had. But then, when one is as old as Bill, it is very difficult to smile hard enough to compensate for gravity's effect over all those years. ;-}
And yes Phil, I will keep my distance and always wear my tennis shoes.

You don't need to know anything about flying inorder to pilot a plane. You do need to know something about flying fly inorder to pilot a plane twice!

It is so great to be loved by all... and I could have let Paul take a much worse picture... really I could have.. really I am also with the oriental band......

You guys in the US somewhat (600 years) behind the fashion let me tell you. Or is it a demonstration going on against anorexic models ???
They do that here with topless young ladies on the catwalk.

That latest photo is of the Real Bill a.k.a. "Avenger", I would rather his "twin" swapped places with him and joined us in the Selby Aerodrome.

That is what I am going to go with.
I am in the oriental band in the Shrine and this was before a parade in Sedgwich Ks. I am working on the fat thing however.
I do want to thank you guys for picking on me, in a weird way it has always meant a lot to me that you guys take the time to give me a hard time. Those that give as well as they take will understand.
