We will need to extend the doors of our hangar... not to help get the planes out but to help get Paul's big head in......lol
The light at the end of the tunnel has been sold to China, if you need the light at the end of the tunnel please send 100 Yen.

Last night I recieved a top secret encoded email from the French resistance commander asking me if this story was true...I verified with my allocated codes and they were authenticated with photographic evidence from the Australian squadron...As he has been hearing that the local peasants around Selby Aerodrome have also heard of the gallant exploints of the 'Ace'...he has therefore ordered 500 of the said documents to be airdropped on all the surrounding  properties...and local airfeilds to ensure the goodwill, gallantry, and adventure of the 'ACE' is recognised and not misplaced, and he is to BE given wonderous goodwill.....he has put out an order that the true believers WILL ensure that the Ace will recieve free food and drink where ever his allies prosper.....

Being French he has offered...many fries, hambergers and coffee..ALL for FREE...and after dark a free pass for him to run wild at the local taverns....

and thats an ORDER...!!!

and remember you never SHOOT the Messenger..

congrats.....anything to further the cause.
You don't need to know anything about flying inorder to pilot a plane.  You do need to know something about flying fly inorder to pilot a plane twice!

Arthur, it is reassuring to know that the Australian wing of the Hun Hunters is active both in the air and in the underground. Without the support such as your wing provides, those gallant aerial combatants who have been shot down may never get back to their unit. Apparently your secret code system is working well.

Yes, the leaflets made it to the aerodrome and have since been scattered about the countryside to announce who the gallant Hun Hunters are.  We have yet to receive any benefits but know that the country folks appreciate the protection we provide.  They always wave to us as we fly over their gardens and livestock.

Oh wait, a bottle of wine and drum of cheese just arrived by a little old woman wearing a baboshka, grandmother shoes, mens work pants and sweater, and black wrinkly stockings. She carried the treats in a rush basket wherin the contents were covered with a red and white checkered cloth. She left everything with me to be shared with the other pilots.

I photographed her as she walked away, apparently back to the two farmers who escorted her to the aerodrome. They introduced themselves with gestures and a firm handshake.  I followed them for awhile and discovered them living in the bombed out ruins of their home.  After experiencing this scene, we are all the more determined in our role as defenders of the French countryside.

Huns beware!

The only thing I miss is from whom is he defending the western front ? But thas a minor detail. (North Koreans are good to be blamed for anything. Poor Saddam is dead)
Anyhow, make sure he finds someone to fight with and fly more creating more publicity for us
Great !!!

Many thanks to Arthur for posting the notice about my photo being on the cover of Australia's Pacific Flyer magazine and my article being featured within.

The magazine can now be read on my website  http://airbikeace.org/

Being in the cover is quite a thrill and a personal achievement, many thanks go to Brent Boggs, the photographer.  I sure appreciate the support and tolerance all of you provide in encouraging my story telling. Someday, I might even make a collection of my stories and publish a book.  For the time being, enjoy and in some cases, be a part of my whimsy on the Board and in magazines.

Arthur, I am not sure you can handle your French translator.  You had better send her to the Selby Aerodrome and we will see that she is well taken care of. No kidding, we know a lot of French (sign language).

Hey Paul,

I think you are a great guy ( for many reasons) , and it blew me away when I saw the magazine sitting on the News stand I had the French girl with me at the time and I said I know that guy..Im sure she didnt believe me I said ..."hes a friend"....

knowing I had a small part to play in asking you to send Pacific Flyer a story or two way back when Adam played fullback for Jerusulem...LOL

And our type of grass roots flying is a lot of fun which the 'GO fast brigade' tend to forget about...sadly.

Ok Kezz has just arrived...time to practice my French...apparently shes very good at Braille too...LOL

Well done on the Article...

regards Arthur

Better not heap it on too thick Arthur. Those Huns might get the wrong idea about old Paul and think he is a softie. Wouldn't want them ganging up on him when Avenger's not around to watch his 6.
DON'T COMPLAIN ABOUT GROWING OLDER, IT'S A PRIVILEGE DENIED TO MANY.

Paul, you do need to write a book on your exploits about the War. I've read some of the Dick Stark experience and its obvious that he throws in a a fare amount of BS where your stories are actually true. Nothing like keeping the history correct. He actually try's to make us believe he didn't mess with the French hotties while he was away from home. From what I here about you from Arthur you could write a steamy book just on that subject. For those that haven't read any of Dick Starks history books I've added some cover shots
