With several new guys joining our group recently I often wonder where they are from. I could have a Mini-max builder a few miles away from me and I may never know it. Why don't we introduce ourselves and state where we are from and what stage of planning/building or flying we are at. Include what ever info you are comfortable with. I'll start.

I'm scratch building a 1100R with 1030 wings and the light tail. Power will be a 277 Rotax.

1999 Mini-Max 1600R with Rotax 447 - about 55 hours on it. I am about to have the engine rebuilt and I need to build a new empennage, then I will be able to begin flying it again.

You don't need to know anything about flying inorder to pilot a plane. You do need to know something about flying fly inorder to pilot a plane twice!

Tom Spindler Greenbush Mn. Fly out of Roseau Mn. KROX airport that is 10 miles south of the Canada border. My plane is a a narrow body org. Mini Max with a Rotax 277. The plane flew for the first time last year and was my first solo at the same time!
