Sunset flight video

This flight is from a year ago.
What I like the most is the colors reflected at those hours.
The view over the dry mountain shows an old inca village waiting for restoration.
Finally a long flare before landing. A bit of power because over the trees just in case....
My plane is still under inspection due to  temperature issues.
I hope you like it as much as I do.

Very nice video Ricardo!  You live in an area with varied and interesting topography, what are the orchard crops?  Wow, you have large hunks of water to fly over, all our water in Kansas is confined to skinny little ribbons winding through the fields.  Looks like you got close enough to the water to do some "fly fishing", pretty cool photo angle.  The sunset through a hazy sky makes it look very "soft", almost like a watercolor painting.  Flying at sunset is a great time to be airborne.

Do you control your camera operation with a remote device such as a smart phone or does the camera run continuously and then you edit for the final video?

The flight over the Inca village was interesting, there appears to be a barrier (fence?) around its perimeter.  Is the area protected such as a National Park would preserve such an artifact.  Can you go there on foot?

To wrap up, you had one of those "greaser" landings---very smooth.  Also, your runway looks smooth, ours is somewhat rough.  Once it even bouced my video camera off of its mounting but it was secured with safety ties.

Again, good job Ricardo, thanks for sharing a bit of your world.

Very nice video Ricardo. I enjoyed it very much!

I have a somewhat related question if you don't mind... What camera set up are you using?

I currently have a Mobius camera but cannot keep it from shaking due to the vibration of the Minimax. Next weekend I will be purchasing a GoPro in hopes that it will perform much better. Thanks!

The camera is a GoPro and it works continuously, it last over an hour with a 32 GB card. It has small remote control  but doesn't operate properly. You can always get the best picture or edition from such a long video. Most orchards are tangerines or avocados.
Paul, the Inca's village is supposed to be protected, but there are not fences or enough personnel to preserve it, there are just too many of these nation wide. I remember when I was a kid I dig  out some mumies from ancient incas villages. Today I get jail for doing that. In this valley there are 3 mayor villages like the one  in the video and tens of smaller compounds.
The best preserved village in this valley is in another area I intent to flight over next time.
Picture bellow shows a fortess only half a mile from the farm.
