Here is a short video of a flight I made to a local airport on the way to my designated practice area. The camera is a GoPro Hero4 mounted using the roll bar mount attached to the axle. I also use a filter on the camera that makes shooting video through the propeller possible to do without the weird lines. Enjoy and thanks for watching!

Good video Sean. With the camera on the axle it looks like you're really hauling ass!

Nice video and stills Sean. How neat it is that these cameras can provide a view that most of us wil never see. Your selection of camera viewpoint and video clips makes for interesting viewing. That special lens sure is wonderful, I forgot to put it on during one of my flights and the video was ruined. Thanks for sharing your corner of the world with us Sean.

Very nice video Sean. The camera does a great job. What kind of engine you have? I also made a video (same plane) with the camera located on the landing gear and the Rotax engine sounded like a turbine. Actually it was wind noise.

Thank you Paul and Ricardo. I hope to get some footage/pictures flying in the snow capped mountains soon.
The engine is a Rotax 447...

I had noticed it does not have the 2 stroke scream in that position. Nice.
And when you took off from the destination airport I thought...look at all that good runway going to waste Prolly could have done 10 touch-n-gos before reaching the far end.

I think Sean may be able to take off, climb to cruising altitude, then land, all before reaching the other end of the runway! It could almost qualify as a cross-country flight
