Here is a short video of the flight to relocate my MiniMax from Corona, CA to my new hangar in Redlands, CA (about 30 minutes closer to home).

That terrain sure is different than the northeast. I hope you enjoy your new home base. Thanks for posting.

Great flight video Sean. Sure has some terrain you wouldn't want to have an engine problem.

Thank you for the kind words everyone. I was at about 2500' AGL on this flight. I will post more videos over the coming months; soon I will be flying up to Big Bear Mountain which is a beautiful flight.

Sean
Enjoyed your video. What camera and mount?.

My setup is a GoPro Hero 4 mounted in the middle of the axle using the roll bar mount. I purchased the nflight prop filter to help take the weird lines that the prop causes out of the picture/video. I also mounted an iPad mini inside, which I use to control the camera during flight.
Soon I will be experimenting with other camera locations.

Sean, That seems to me like the best location for the camera that I've seen so far for viewing the scenery.. But you or the plane are not in the picture..
I'll have to make me a mount to duplicate yours since I have the aluminum gear but I'll get-r-done.... I"ve also thought about trying mine on the top of the vert. stab.. How would that turn out?????

Harless, yeah I like it a lot where it's at. I will be testing a lot of other camera locations that will capture different things, including me and the plane. I too was thinking about trying on top of the fin, I will let you know how it works out!

Sean,
Just watched your first flight video. Really enjoyed it. Very well done.

Why focus on proving how great you are, when you could focus on becoming better?...
