First flight of 2015, 3-10-15  it was in the miniMAX, and it was GOOD
My runway is impossible to get to yet so I had to use the alternate... I couldn't stand it any longer. It had been Nov. the last time I flew the Piet. and that was to warm up the Corvair and change oil. It was 53 that morning and went downhill from there. 63 degrees today when I took off and 59 when I landed. A week ago it was in the single digits. Our low last week was -5....I like this much better. I was going to take a few more pic. with my phone, but it said the memory was full ...Kind of hard to fly look at and then delete unwanted, or unneeded pictures while flying...Probably dangerous besides... Had a nice flight of about an hour

a mile of road will take you a mile, a mile of runway can take you anywhere.

Looks like good weather and a good flight. Maybe these temps are here to stay. It was last year at the end of March that there was a tornado warning and a blizzard warning on the same day for my area.

That is fantastic! Hope you get lots more time this March.

Thanks aeronaut
tj, I hope we don't pay for this weather in late April when we want to be putting in a crop. The path to the runway is getting better so I hope by early next week I can fly from it. I'm amazed at how fast the snow has disappeared.

Glad to learn you got that first flight of '15 under you belt. Now make the flights more frequent and longer as the temps warm up.
