Sunset over the Red River,  south of Alexandria, LA.  The last hour before sunset and the 30 min after is THE BEST time to be up in the air in the light stuff.

That takes me back to 69 when I did my basic and ait at Fort Polk. Long time ago.I had been cruising timber for International Paper in northern Maine and got my greetings and wound up down there in May. I about died when I took my first breath of air when I got off the airplane. I was not use to the heat and humidity.

Termite: Pretty picture.

My sunsets are filter through the Houston atmosphere to get that kind of color. You must have been flying in the African dust that the weatherman showed on his satellite image. Glad to see that some good comes from fine particles of elephant poop floating in the air.
