I tried to post my first GoPro video on YouTube but can't log into my account. Always something. If I ever get it to work again I'll post the link.
There are no loops or rolls or flying under bridges, anyway.

Here's the link to my first GoPro video. I added music, so if interested you might look before YouTube removes it.
https://youtu.be/k-kwpgW4zIQ .

It's just a short flight from my airstrip to the town just south of me and return. One can see that my part of Texas is nothing like the movies depict it.

The wind was 20 mph. plus and gusty, so I accelerated to almost cruise speed before climbing for better control and the landing is really just cruising to the ground for the same reason.

My home is just behind the tree line on the west (right) of the strip and the shop where I keep the plane is the tan-colored building visible on the left during takeoff.

Hope you enjoy.

Maybe I can post something more interesting later after some practice.

Hey Bert, great video!  I suppose there are lots of places to put down in an emergency....but, it doesn't look like it from my seat!  LOL!  I liked the music, but also like to hear the motor running. I did not realize you had other videos as well.....nice way to occupy some time that I should be working!!  LOL!  Thanks,

Dennis

I work on the video at night. That ends up eating daylight because I sleep late the next morning.

I might have posted the same flight (a little shorter) without the music, I can't remember for sure.

Thanks for the video Bert. It always amazes me that this country is so diverse. My son lives in the Huston area an it is kind flat around also.

Thanks for the video!
You need to cut off those trees obstructing on final !
What are those orchards you fly over?

No longer my trees obstructing final approach. I had to sell that property about 2000 or 2001.

The trees planted in rows are pines. Some belong to my sister and those where I am turning base and final belong to some timber company.

Aeronut, this is the Houston area. The magenta circle around Bush Intercontinental (actually in Humble, north of Houston) is about 7 miles or so west of me. When I turn to the west in the video I turn toward Houston.

Yup he lives in Humble; sometimes it is an amazingly small world.
