Overcast flight

It was a typical winter weather from this region. We abruptly went from "El Niño" weather which only showed very high temperatures during the summer to "La niña" weather which means a very cold winter. Winters are not so bad for flying in this area since winds are very calm, is just fog that may keep me grounded,

I arranged a serial of pictures describing a successful mission against the enemy. A 5 minutes video (https://youtu.be/9tGl-tWkVsQ) will be soon on Youtube . Don't expect anything breathtaking, is just another local flight. I hope you like it. Thanks for watching.

Have you seen the Houston skyline?
The pictures look just like the terrain around here when it isn't under water. You must be in EXTREME south Texas.

Nice pictures.

Judging from those two smoking holes, you must have downed a couple of Huns!  Good going! Must be a little un-nerving flying in that foggy air. I'd be afraid some big honking 747 would be descending through it and tear me up with its wake turbulence.

I like flying on high overcast days(6000ft or higher ceiling), with light surface winds.  Makes for smooth cruising with no thermals.
