Milling Aviation grade lumber from common box store dimension lumber!

Does it really cost well over $100 to ship a board? What size? What carrier?

Actually costs are highly variable depending on the quality of the wood and carrier and time that the piece is needed.  In retrospect I feel I probably exaggerated the price, in fact I never just order one board at a time so it seems more expensive than it is.  I may edit the video to remove that bit.

Hey guys,

I've been getting some PM's asking if I stopped building and filming etc.  I recently purchased my first home and was able to reunite my family after two years of geo-bacheloring.  The good news is the house has a nice big two car garage already earmarked for me and my projects.  The bad news is we are still unpacking and the garage is a total mess right now.  Additionally I've not found the box with all my camera equipment yet, doh!

So bear with me I hope to be up and building again soon with video's.  I hope all is well for everybody.

Hey Folks,

Still building my Epic Sport. Empennage is more or less finished, saving money for wing assembly kit.  I don’t come on here as much because I seldom use the computer at home and I try to avoid the temptation at work.  Speaking of that I’m set to retire from the Coast Guard May 2nd. Already looking for another IT Job, though my wife wants me to take a break.

Hope all is well in Buzzards Paradise. Since it’s so easy to Facebook with my cell I’ve started an Epic Sport Builders Facebook group which shows my progress.
