I hope I'm not getting you guys bored with the same kind of pics, landscape and so on.
I flew to an area where a water canal takes its water from the local river. Not much water at all but is normal at the year time. There's a huge Inca ruin next to it, I should get better pictures next time, the entire hill was a small village.
Flew down the river towards the sea which a few days ago had beaten the coast severely causing damage to poor cattle farmers posted at the seashore.
The plane is flying just fine and I decided to fly it not less than one half an hour every week. Winter is not that bad after all.

Great scenery photos Ricardo, you have a lot of topographical variety. Can you smell the sea? Photos are nice and clear, good job. And your airspeed shows 70 mph, man, that is nosebleed speed.

Thank you guys for your positive comments! Since I'm a lonely pilot I like to share these flights with someone else.
I'm specially glad for those who are in the building process, it helps to keeps the dream alive, it did for me.
Few more pictures of the last flight, first picture a great climb in cold temperatures; next, waves coming one after the other; last aiming to final... my favorite.

Looks like a crosswind landing if that smoke is any indication. How is the Maxes crosswind capability?

JonF: The runway can be seen in the upper left corner or at 2 o´clock from airplane direction. I can handle 90º crosswinds up to 10 mph on a grass runway by doing a two wheel landing, anything above that I stay on the ground, after all I´m not in a hurry to go anywhere and I'm not an experienced pilot by any means.
The smoothest ride you can have is flying over the ocean.

I've spent a lot of time bobbing around in it... After that flying over it will be enjoyable.

Thanks for the pictures. I enjoy seeing what your country is like.
How in the world did you ever get a Max high enough to see the curvature of the earth like in picture #2? I've read about the U-2 pilots' seeing that, and those in the SR-71, but it must have taken at least 30 min. to get a Max that high.
(I'm familiar with camera distortion; just kidding.)

Wide angle lenses do strange things to straight lines. I use them a lot on my video's and now and again someone will ask me if my spars are bent....

This was last friday, I flew to a village at the valley's end, is a desert area with dirt roads, a fast growing town. Many avocados and tangerines orchards in the area.
On the way back I did a wide open throttle test, rpm's kept rising and so was the speed, all this at a level flight. I had to cut it back before I damage the engine. fast little plane, however I still prefer a soft 5000 rpm ride.

Thanks for posting Ricardo. The orchards look like Florida but not so much the hills or small mountains in the background.

Ricardo looks like your Egt temps got a little high on your high speed run.
