Here's a new video from last Friday. Sorry, nothing new but better than nothing.
Flown without lower cowling after a battery recharge. Electric rectifier said "no more".
At video end I tried to do a short landing.
https://youtu.be/qjRCAUvEyBoWatch flock of birds at 3:11 (herons flying down the screen) .

Nice video Ricardo! That is just what I needed after being grounded for the past 2-1/2 months with two cataract surgeries and one knee replacement surgery. You have a variety of interesting scenery to look at from a a couple thousand feed AGL. All of it is interesting; roads, orchards, fields, towns, sand hills, ocean, etc. Thanks for posting this, again, it is just what I needed. I am still on several pain killer drugs so the doc. says no driving or flying.

Paul,………The drugs might be nice but I'd be willing to bet that you have a good looking female physical therapist and its going to take a long….long time for that knee to heal.

Paul:
Sorry to hear about you illnesses. I'm glad you got distracted for a while watching the video.
Is very nice to do the early and late hours flights this time of the year . Will try to post another video in the following days....Do I have a better reason?
Get well soon ! You are an inspiration to many of us.

Enjoyed the video.
Beautiful farm land and nice beach.
About the 4 minute mark you flew over a sand hill that appeared to have the ruins of some buildings on top. Is that some prehistoric site (that's a European point of view) or something very old or maybe not even buildings?
I saw the herons you mentioned.

Yes they are Inca ruins. Lots of them in the central coast of Peru.

This was a beautiful video! Such gorgeous scenery, and the feel9ng of solitude, knowing that you were more than likely the only person viewing all of this from that perspective at that given time has to be amazing. I subscribed so I will know when you upload more! I can't wait to have this freedom! Those power lines on final did make me nervous though haha

Ricardo,
That was real nice, There was another airplane flying to the left of you when the birds were flying.

Nice video!
What a great area to fly over. Beautiful farm land, and the dunes were excellent!
Thanks for posting that!
How was the camera mounted?
RicardoSeptember 15, 2017, 12:30am
I have a GoPro camera.
I put 4 camera holders at different places.
The one at the leading edge was for this video. For a side view they are located at wing tip (one on each side).
Another on cabin top (pic bellow)and the last is at the rear stabilizer edge which has an excellent view but it shakes too much.
Finally I have a regular camera on my hat for an in cabin view.
