Last Saturday I decided to go to 10,000ft,  "just because".

It took a while.  My climb rate was down to about 275-290 fpm, and my EGTs dropped off to about 850 deg or so, which is low, so that's one reason I didn't try to go any higher.  And the fact that it was pretty dang chilly up there despite wearing a jacket.

KESF from 10K.

OK try 13500 feet....LOL ........  I cant tell you how or where as the legal limit is 10K...and damn...Im guessing it is very cold....and possibly...theoretically.... still climbing at 300 feet min.

I went up to 12000 once to see what it was like.  Mostly boring.  Feels like you aren't even moving.  I shut off the engine and glided for almost 10 minutes before starting up again.

If I could lean my carbs,  I would have gone higher.
