Free Air ROTAX 277, Cylinder Head Cover Essential?

I've been wondering if cylinder shoad be installed.
Besides, no rotax provisions mentioned in this case so
Should need to clarify since in addition I'll be operating this lil engine
In tropic area. Any thoughs? Thanks for your inputs.

Phil my 277 did great on my max-103 without any shroud on the cylinder. The 277 has deep fins at the needed locations. An air shroud would be needed if the engine is enclosed under a cowl.

No shroud with 277 on skypup, engine never overheated or let me down.

Fine. Thank you guys.

And will attached bolts with hole on its head (on red)
To secure safety wires(violet) on spark plug cap.

Wrap safety wire around the base of your spark plug , run a strand of safety wire through the  loop you just made, run a strand of safety wire through 1/8 fuel line and loop it over the spark plug
