My son in law flies a Citation 10 for a living and a 1946 Swift for fun. He recently start flying R/C and found landing an R/C tail dragger a little more challenging than he thought. As this picture will show his determination paid off and he finally "stuck" the landing with his R/C tail dragger. He's also perfected shot field landings.

Good grief, I hope he has long stick or a very tall friend. It speaks well for the Champ's durability.

Hey Dick
That is a good one, LOL. I had a friend that stuck his plane (model) in a tree, out on the end of a 3" branch. It was up about 20 feet. All he had was an Exacto razor saw. He climbed the tree and started taking small chunks out of the branch. After about an hour the branch came down and the plane scooted across the ground undamaged. Hope the little champ fared as well.
Bob
Fly safe and have fun.

Full marks 100/100 to you for identifying the model as a champ.

anybody got any pictures of the one that ended up hanging his tailwheel on the airport fence? I wonder what the outcome was of that one?
