Welcome Sergio,

I too have been in your shoes. I am on my 3rd max and 4th Ison design! Every time I have let one go I have had to go buy another! They are just great little airplanes.

Chris
When in doubt just use full throttle.... it might not help but it will end the suspense.

That is an incredibly beautiful max!  I looooove it.  I really want to get some little covers for my wheels just like you have.

Beautiful Max! It doesn't look 30 years old at all.
Bad spellers of the world untie!

Wow! How come the Italians know how to make such beautiful planes?
ITman496November 11, 2020, 2:27am
How come all the overseas minimaxes are always so beautiful?

More  than sharp.  Impressive!   How does she fly with that engine?

Interestingly I see that it has the light tail, yet with the weight of a Jabiru at the front you'd think he'd use the heavy tail. However, I notice that the tail end of the fuselage has been extended some way out under the elevator, so perhaps he's got some balance weight in there?

He has balance weights on the elevator also.  That could add  maybe 4 lbs?

Hi to all, thanks!
I built the plane also to design and test some my own solutions and I put in my Max a lot of changes in the controls (no teleflex but alloy rods), wingtips, engine installation (with engine frame and cowlings) ecc.

It flies very well but of course I've added some weight (around 8 lbs) in the tail (not in the added tail cone but below the stabilizer).
Elevator during landing become a little bit heavy so I added 2lbs total to statically balance the elevator. Is better but not enough, I will try adding also dynamic balance surfaces to have harmonized controls.

It's a super little aircraft for fun!

I love the idea of alloy control rods, I saw a thread that had some incredibly beautifully done ones here in the past.  I have been considering it for some time but for now I'm just using redundant teleflex.

It looks fun, and super fast!  Nice work!!

I'm curious what your engine makes for HP, also, what is your cruise speed. That is one beautiful 'Max!
