I just started on the root and tip ribs on EROS 1650. I glued a full sheet on a tip rib and later (after it was hardened) discovered I didn't have the nose part. I ended it at that first vertical member of the rib. I'm wondering if I can splice that to the nose sheet by gluing a piece on the seam. Only other options are to remove the sheet or rebuild the rib. I have to check the FAA AC 43.13-1B, but thought I'd also see what you think.
Thanks!

You are not the first. Are you planning to add wing tips? See post 69,70 and 72

Thank you. I haven't looked that far ahead to see about wingtips. I'll check that.

You should be fine to carry on. Glue the 1/8" sheeting to the nose rib and make sure it comes back over the outside end of the spar. You have leading edge sheeting holding the nose rib on and you have the 2" sheeting going all the way down the 2 outside ribs on top and bottom. Make sure you get a good glue joint on that first vertical rib member against the spar. Your not the first one.

Thank you! I will do that.
