Thanks for the add. Have been recommended to join this group. Have been pondering a part 103 build. Very intimidated by the plans and the thoughts of a stick built. Hope to learn a lot from you guys.

You might want to check out Dennis Tyson's Mini-Max build on the Tubes of You. He's building an 1100R, which can qualify as a Part 103 ultralight.

My bird lives in Centerburg, Ohio in Knox County, airport 6CM.

She currently is not flying, I'm on the tail end of completing an engine swap.

If your worried about the strength of these little birds, stop worrying. More than enough strength. Plans are not bad at all. If you have any questions there is plenty of info if you search. And, there are still a bunch of us old timers here to answer. Go for it and enjoy.

Since I’m new to the UL community I am bombarded with plan options to build. And, there are a lot to choose from that interest me. I picked up 1100 plans, but also Banty, SkyPup, several of Roger Mann’s plans, Weedhopper, Affordaplane. When you start studying them your head spins off.
