Longtime members will remember Doug and his muse, his build log and losing his bird in a divorce before he could fly it. I'm happy to say that his beautiful Eros lives on, it surfaced on the Facebook group today and I have invited the new owner to join us here. According to his post it has been stored in a hangar for many years. I hope Doug is alive and well and perhaps even still lurking and will see that his Eros lives on.
When in doubt just use full throttle.... it might not help but it will end the suspense.

That's a beautiful Eros. I love the paint scheme!

Thanks for inviting me over to the forum Bluemax! It surprised me on Facebook when you commented, seems like people here in the minimax community know more about the history of my airplane than I do. Sure hope Doug is still around, I can tell a lot of care went into building this plane and it's a shame it has barely been flown (about 7 hours flight time currently, none by me so far), but I can say it seems like it has been well taken care of for all these years

Welcome aboard and Im glad to hear she is in good shape! This board has gotten alot quieter in the last few years but there is still a ton of good information here and in the archives including the build logs on your bird. Lots of longtime members and a few team factory employees still lurk here in the shadows so if you have any questions ask away and someone will have an answer!
