Hey ETLB Friends!
Mini‑Max USA is adding one or two hands‑on teammates at our Niles, MI facility. We’re a small, tight‑knit crew that builds aircraft parts and supports our builder community. If you love the smell of sawdust and enjoy pitching in wherever needed, we’d love to meet you.
What you’ll do:
Cut wood and build aircraft parts
Pull orders and help with packing/shipping
Assist with day‑to‑day shop operations
Take photos of parts/projects
Meet customers for local pickups
Work alongside builders on projects in the Niles facility
Help transport planes to/from customers (box van or trailer)
Organize, receive, and audit shipments from vendors and put parts away
Work our show booths at Oshkosh (EAA AirVenture) and SUN ’n FUN (others TBD)
Potentially manage other shop assistants in the future
What we’re looking for
Solid knowledge of woodworking tools
Comfortable driving a box van and/or towing a trailer
Organized, self‑starter, meticulous about quality
Interested in sticking around and growing with the company
Excellent communication
Trustworthy
Aviation lover
Who tends to thrive here
This is more “labor of love” than corporate career ladder. We’re not a Silicon Valley corporation—we’re a hands‑on, community‑minded shop where reliability, craftsmanship, and respect matter most. It’s a great fit for experienced woodworkers and makers (including retirees) who take pride in craftsmanship and enjoy helping others build.
